Alux Caverna Restaurant Lounge offers more than good food and wine; it is a unique dining experience in a cave setting. Where else can you have good food and good service all while dining in a beautiful romantic cave? We visited here after doing some research on dining in Playa Del Carmen and I was not disappointed (I still can’t believe it’s only rated #45 restaurant on Trip Advisor.) I highly recommend making reservations well in advance. The caves are well maintained, very clean and creatively well lit with small cenotes creating a unique ambience. The whole experience is quite enchanting. After dinner, I suggest meandering thru the caves and do a little exploring. Alux is absolutely a hidden gem!
